Welcome to The TR Research and Publication Center

The main objectives of the TR Research and Publication Center are to use research as a tool for cultivating knowledge, attitudes and skills for life-long learning, to serve as a resource for information and knowledge about translation, sharing what we know and what we learn in an attempt to create an evidence-based form of inquiry, to become informed practitioners and to contribute to research in areas that are relevant to our profession.

The TR Company is seeking graduate and undergraduate students interested in being part of a new team to develop research papers that will be used for demonstration and implementation of new practices and methodologies.

Membership Requirements
Those interested in becoming part of the TR Research and Publication Center should meet certain requirements, namely:

  • Be a professional interested in research in general.
  • Be inquisitive, passionate about researching, and stimulated by deep intellectual curiosity.
  • Be a self-motivated and team-oriented professional.
  • Have excellent written communication skills.
  • Have excellent computer and internet research skills.
  • Be an undergraduate student of, or a graduate professional from a language-related profession, or
  • Be a translation graduate or undergraduate student, where specific translation topics related to the profession are addressed, or
  • Be proficient in editing, formatting and binding processes.
