Contract Law

Contract law is a key area of private law. It shows what promises or commitments our society believes should be legally binding and it also shows what excuses our society will accept for the breaking of such promises.

This program offers a possibility for participants to learn, implement and eventually acquire useful vocabulary and writing techniques for contracts in general and for more modern and specific types of contracts as well. They will be able to recognize typical characteristics of a contract written in the US analyze typical contract clauses and even compare different writing styles.
