Criminal Law

This program introduces the basics of substantive criminal law as developed by both statutes and case law. The course explores the fundamental principles underlying crime assessment and punishment, and then moves on to analyze the particulars of some specific crimes that fall within several categories, including violent crimes, crimes against property, white-collar crimes, and Cybercrime.
