International Business Law

Business in general faces an increasingly international economic environment. Many businesspersons find themselves engaged in exporting goods and services. Others find that they are importing goods and services. Additionally, numerous other types of financial dealings with other countries are possible. Often money capital is raised abroad to finance a project at home. And some businesses are still discovering that they can make higher profits by investing money capital in other countries or by actually producing goods in other countries for sale in those countries, as well as for sale elsewhere.

In this course, we will look exclusively at the international environment of business. In so doing, we will pay particular attention to international transactions and the legal environment within which international business takes place.
