Cynthia Farber, CEO of The TR Company S.A.

Cynthia is a Certified Translator graduated from the School of Law at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA).

For 20 years, she has been running her translation company, The TR Company S.A., with a portfolio of prestigious clients in Argentina, Chile, United States, Spain, Switzerland, Japan and Singapore, among other countries.

She has completed several graduate studies, including a Diploma in Business Administration and Strategic Management at the University of Belgrano, training programs in Social Responsibility, Inclusion and Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, and Negotiation at the Di Tella University, and Communication, Gender and Society at FLACSO.

During her extensive academic career, she worked as an Associate Professor of Translation II and Translation IV at the School of Law and Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires before joining the University of Belgrano, where she is a Professor of International Negotiation for the Business Administration and Strategic Management Programs. She has also taught numerous courses and seminars for organizations such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Argentina, the Certified Translators Association of the City of Buenos Aires (CTPCBA), the Certified Translators Association of the Province of Santa Fe, the Argentine Association of Translators and Interpreters (AATI), and has trained lawyers from the country’s most prestigious law firms.

She is the founder of “Tu Amigo Invisible en el Chaco” (Your Secret Pal in Chaco) support project, a non-profit organization that helps more than 600 children from 18 rural schools in the Province of Chaco, Argentina, and other social ventures such as “Sola Nunca” (Never Alone), which addresses the issue of gender-based violence, and “Busco Trabajo” (Looking for a Job), an incipient online job bank.
